The Bogus Basin Kamikaze Downhill
[Now on Saturday, Sept. 20th]
!! Final DH Points race of the year!!
We have changed the downhill race to Saturday, so you can also race the Samauri XC on Sunday and
enjoy the awards party afterwards.
The Kamikaze technical downhill course runs from the upper lodge to the lower lodge.This race is sponsored by a great little shop in Eagle, Idaho by the name of Reed Cycle and Ski. Go check them out and say hello from the Wild Rockies Crew.
Fast times are between 2:10 and 2:20 on this brand new, screaming fast course with quick turns and
smaller drops.There is great spots for spectating and photo ops on this sweet course only 45 min
drive time from Boise. Come on up and check it out, the views are awesome!!
On-site Registration: Noon to 2:00pm
Times: 2:30pm start from the upper lodge
Practice: The course is set-up NOW!! Thank you to volunteers from Reed Cycle - Taylor, Daniel,
Cody, Max, Terry, and Ian. Practice the day of the race is not limited, but there is a
short-track race happening in the morning. Riding inspection can be done in the morning.please be aware there are lots of people and bikes in the base area, so keep your heads up!Have fun and go big!!
This weekend also serves as the NCCA Regional conference championship for the qualification of Collegiate Nationals. Come support the riders and help them ready for the big race in October. Knobby Tire Series and Boise State Cycling club will be on hand to see that the weekend is a success.
