Bike Riding Folksinger “Walk Every Step of the Way”

Warren Marshall performs every Saturday night at 10PM at Lucky Numbers Grill, 1931 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL. This is me playing guitar while riding a bicycle. I often do this in the spring and autumn when there aren’t so many people on the trail. The song is “Walk Every Step of the Way” written by Chicago folksinger Mark Dvorak. Errata: second verse, the line should be “and with every breath I take” and not “and with every step I take.” Thanks to Julie, Sarah, and Rosie. I’d been planning on making a video of this for a few years and with your help it came out far better than expected.
Wonderful. You are very talented.
Very cool video. Just started playing, wish I could do this. You inspire me.
Awesome!
Thanks Tara. Well, maybe it’s not ironic, but that’s just the song I play when I ride my bike and play. So, it’s not ironic, it’s honest.
i liked your opening flower shot and thought it was a very sweet song. . i also think you have a unique talent for riding and playing. . in fact if you were around where im at id wouldnt mind getting a shot myself. . but i have to agree with the earlier comment about the bike riding and walking. . dont get the irony there as it didnt strike me as a ironic video.
Irony: 1) The use of words to signify the opposite of what they usually express. 2) A condition of affairs or events exactly the reverse of what was expected or hoped for.
This video is lovely!
Watching it is like a window into a carefree world.
It’s a beautiful song and the perfect little video to match.
Steering a bike while playing and making turns and singing (about walking) .
Impressive
Nice video Christopher, but I’m thinkin’ if you’re riding a bike you’re not walking every step of the way.
