WABUN MOUNTAIN hill climb-This is in the Calabogie Highlands and is mainly Crown Land. We are part of the Bytown Motorcycle Assoc. from Ottawa,Ont. Canada. We were preparing the trail on Aug.23,09 for the Calabogie Boogie held Sept. 13th. It is actually a 2 day event in nearby areas. Always on the 2nd weekend of September. This was filmed with the GoPro Camera attached with a handle bar bracket on my ’08 KTM 250XCF. The audio isn’t to bad considering the vibration of the handle bars and the rocks on the trail. The water hazard on the trail which we have to go around just before climbing up Wabun Mtn. is about 2 meters (6′) deep in the middle. The climb up the mountain doesn’t look steep in the video but it is a climb of over 600′.

I put a small piece of tape on the battery cover so when you close the case it compresses it and eliminates unwanted shaking noise…

The camera works normally very well from the handle bars. Friends orignally thought it would bounce around to much compared to being on the helmet.

Later videos have sound issues from camera vibrations inside the camera case.

Good footage! Give us some more.
Does your GoPro camera works well all the time on the handlebar? Or does it stops sometimes when the going gets rough?
