Mountain Bike!: A guide from beginning to advanced technology

WARNING: This book is written like a comic book. It contains illustrations on almost every page and all text appears as a complete manuscript. The information displayed is looking for a beginner rider to the common sense techniques and rules of the mountain to find help. I recommend reading it first if you are patient enough for a comic book of 176 pages to read. The information is often repetitive, and the police (aka MS-pt legible scribble Knapp 12). Hurts my eyes after a while. I am an intermediate runner and I found much information on the “common sense” to keep my interest. Rating: 5.3
Note the publication date – 1992. As such a suspension, is now not only commonplace, but not an integral part of modern mountain bike, talked. Some of the finer points and the base body and not as pedal position of weight transfer, are climbing and survival crash yet, but the more complicated techniques. Although the illustrations convey the subject are good, all the text of the manuscript book will bar with endless jokes and a bit blasphemous. At the end of the day, it is cheap, quick to read, and some basic instructions for quality, but it is outdated and is a bit too much like a cartoon. Rating: 5.2
In 2008, perhaps a bit dated, as far as things like “clip-in pedals, but the content and technique is there, and very humorous. A worthwhile read each year. I gave a copy to mountain biking many. Reiter. A great book, just thumb over all the time. Excellent! Rating: 5.5
What I like most about this book teaches the essentials, such as the balance on a bike. It’s never old or outdated. Yes, the books of the newer more advanced, but it is a positive point for this book, even if you’re not a beginner. The more time and more different ways you can take the information, the better you understand. Well worth the time. Rating: 5.5
You do not know about the negative comments, but it is a solid book on the bike mtn. Certainly, some things are not updated, but come on, you need someone tells you that clipless pedals are the latest and greatest? Duh. The skills acquired here are fundamental and very practical. What really separate this book other than the author tells you all his bad experiences, good experiences and how we can learn from them. Very, very useful and helps you avoid many cuts and bruises that you would get if they have learned from experience! And it’s so nice to read because the humor is just hilarious! Rating: 5.4
