Mountain Biking in Traditional Spain

By Mike on March 9, 2010, 2:39 pm

Mountain Biking video showing some footage of a Sunshine Breaks day out in Las Alpujarras, Granada, Spain. The route starts at the Puerto de la Ragua, a 2000 metre pass and follows the high forest trails along the Sierra Nevada. This drops over 1100 metres (3500 feet) finishing right at the front door of the Sunshine Breaks Mountain B&B Casa Escocia. Other extracts from the video are down through the Alpujarran villages of Nechite and Valor and down the lower trails towards Ugijar. All shepherds, farmers, gardeners, donkeys, goats, sheep & dogs are local to Nechite and none were harmed during the making of this video!! Check out our website www.sunshinebreaks.com for further details of mountain biking in the south of Spain!!
