SAMURAI Long Course XC
[SATURDAY, September 12th]
ATTENTION:STARTING AT 11:30AM--- We'll be throwing all the toughness that Bogus has to offer at you. Are you tough enough to finish the SAMURAI? You'll be climbing more than 2500 ft per lap! Pros and Experts do two 11 mile laps, Sports and Beginners will do one lap. This race is most of the old "BOMBER" course plus new trails: Up the Cabin Traverse, over Tempest Trail, Pioneer/Sunshine cattrack, and part of Shin-dig to Shaker Ridge.
The route is as follows: Simplot Lodge to Eastside, down by the pickle ponds, and up past the Nordic Lodge. From there a Sappers romp over to Bitteroot, up to Pioneer condos, over to War Eagle around Elk Meadows, up to the top of Tempest Trail and finally 95% downhill on the high-speed cattracks over to Shaker Ridge.Be prepared to be worked over! Top Pros expect one hour per lap! Booyahh boyyyy.
One of our weekends also features on the SAME Saturday,two special events for collegiates and single-speeders;
(WILD ROCKIES is working in conjunction with BSU Cycling Club to host the NCCA regional collegiate championships.) "A" group collegiates will do two laps. "A" Women do one lap.
For the STATE Singlespeed Championship, You'll be doing one lap of the grueling Samurai course. Rock out with your cog out for one lap for the STATE Champ title or GO BIG with your PRO/Expert age group for two!! Lets get the party started!!

Idaho STATE SINGLESPEED Championship
[Saturday, September 12th]
All NEW single-speed course Starting at 11:30am with the Expert group.You'll do one lap of the Samurai XC, at Bogus Basin. This is for the extra
crazy people with a desire to master "grace under pressure". Beginner singlespeed
racers all the way to the top Pro racers will have one hell of a race, as we put the
long hike-a-bike back in the course, additional challenging climbs and brand NEW descending trails. Expect more than 2500 vertical feet of climbing during the race!
Required riders meeting!!10:50am by the lower lodge at
Bogus Basin Mountain Resort.
START TIME: 11:30am sharp for every class, including collegiates! In the following order; Pro, Expert & Singlespeed, Sport, Beginners.--- 2 minute intervals between classes.
