The Bogus to Boise Banzai [Sun, September 14]

This is good fun for the Beginner rider all the way to the top Pro racers.
We encourage first time racers to come try this rockin good mountain bike race. This event
is a great way to introduce you and your friends to the racing, as well as the local riding scene!! We encourage all categories.
Single-speeds and 6in travel bikes that will compete for a special award of $50.00 to the fastest
times for each!!!
ATTENTION: Racers start on top of Deer Point chairlift where they will begin a "LeMans" running start
to the 16.5 mile Banzai downhill adventure. The Banzai finishes up with a HUGE finish line
party at the Boise Co-Op and is the Wild Rockies one of the last chances to accure points for the Series champion title, for both the cross-county
and downhill Series. You won't want to miss this one!!
LOCATION: Bogus Basin Mountain Resort. This is 16 MILES North from downtown Boise,Id.
on Bogus Basin Rd.
TIMES: HIGH NOON - start loading the chairlift and the race begins when everybody gets set.
"LeMans" start with a 100yd uphill dash!!!
SHUTTLE SERVICE TO BOGUS: Transportation Cost is factored into the entry fee so please use
this service as it helps decrease pollution and traffic in the area.This is not the typical bus ride, as we use a 1st class service type bus. Space is limited to the FIRST 60 riders and their bikes.
The pickup point is the Ridleys Market parking lot, northernmost corner, near the Bogus Basin
corporate offices. One bus can carry up to 60 people and is great way to prep for the race
with your friends and get the party started early. Your bike will go into a separate cargo
vehicle, feel free to leave things you cannot take with you during the race
on the shuttle, we will bring it to the Boise Co-op.
The bus will leave the parking lot at Ridley's at 10am and would be perfect for Banzai
Bikers. Again please pre-register online, otherwise we have to charge $20.00 for the
on-site inconvenience to our staff.
There will NOT be bus service back to the top after the race.
Pre-ride party bus shuttle to the start:
Free when you sign up by September 5th
$10.00 for shuttle sign-up by Sept. 13th
$20.00 fee for ON-SITE sign-up Sept. 14th
PARTY TIME: Please remember that there will be food, music and alcohol at the Banzai Party,
so please be smart about drinking and driving - meaning DON'T DO IT Punk!!
