The 11th Annual Boise to Idaho City MTB Tour (formerly CYCLE IDAHO) [Saturday & Sunday, June 21-22]
Check-in and staging area is located at the Ft. Boise Armory on Reserve st. in Boise.
This adventure ride starts up Rocky Canyon Rd., from there you'll visit two more high passes on your way to our lunch area located at Clear Creek Lodge. The lunch stop is located on Clear Creek Rd., turning left off Grimes Creek Rd.
After lunch we proceed along Grimes Creek Rd. North to Centerville. Following a snack break, you'll proceed to climb up to Spanish Fork and descend into Idaho city.
Finish for the 1st day is at the football field, there you'll find our free, dry camping area. Great dinner provided by Trudy's Kitchen at the historical Park afterwards. Free showers located at the High School in downtown Idaho City.
This is a benefit ride with a portion of the proceeds going to SouthWest Idaho Mountain Bike Association(SWIMBA). They are established donors in Idaho from the members countless hours to monitary contributions back to the trail community. The latest project that is recieving national attention and will quickly become a regional area hub is the Idaho Velodrome and Cycling Park. Look for project updates here or on our blog.
