Hi there! Colorado is a beautiful state. If only we could all afford to live in beautiful cabins in the mountains as opposed to here on the Front Range!!! Thanks so much for stopping by & blessing me with your comment.

Thanks for stopping by! Yes, that area is amazing. We camped there twice last summer. That’s a funny story about the Cottonwood Pass broken-leg engagement!!! Happy Camping & God bless!

You are making me miss home so much right now it just killing me. I’ve lived all over the world, and there is no place like Colorado.

i probably have stayed at your little spot there, every summer i have been blessed to be able to spend 2 or 3 months out in the backcountry, and my favorite places all seem to be right around there! i even got engaged on cottonwood pass (got out and climbed up lol she had a broken leg)

Howdy. This camping spot is in the Gunnison National Forest, West of Buena Vista…over Cottonwood Pass. It’s not in a public campground. We camp there because it’s not crowded, I dislike public camgrounds…and it’s free. Anyway, this was a spot we stumbled upon, past Taylor Reservoir and seveal miles down a US Forest Service 4×4 trail. There are countless great spots like this available if you just drive off the beaten path!!!

where exactly are you camping at in colorado? Is it a campground or what? I would love to camp that spot this summer. Thanks!

Thanks for stopping by! I just put up several videos from a recent trip up to Glacier National Park and Alberta, Canada if you want to check them out. Sounds like you enjoy the West as much as I do! Thanks again for stopping by.

Beautiful! I haven’t spent much time in Colorado, but this reminds me of all my trips out west to Montana, Wyoming, and the badlands to some extant. Colorado is next on my list!

    Thanks again!
