When John Denver …
When John Denver was at the hight of his popularity, I was a small kid living outside of Denver. We moved about the same time it seemed his radio presence waned. It had an odd, personal affect on myself, joining the two memories, especially in his last name and the content of his music with my memories of high elevation living.
Hearing him sing is more than merely a good memory.
I’m 6 again, laying in pine needles on a hillside looking up at the rich blue sky and not a care in the world.

I lived in the …
I lived in the south, GA and MS for 44 years and finally came home when I moved to Durango, CO a year ago. This song says it all for me too! The beauty of this state can’t be beat! Love riding the motorcycle in the mountains. I moved from 40 ft. above sea level to over 6600 ft. and ride up to 13,000 in a matter of minutes. You should experience the Rocky Mtns at least once in your life and you’ll see heaven on earth!!! xoxo

I miss John Denver so much. When I want to see the beauty of nature, I put on John Denver songs, close my eyes, and let his songs take me on a trip.

No matter where I visit, I always look forward to coming back home just to see the Rocky Mountains and get lost in the beauty of our state.
