    JD ,on a very few ocassions lipsynched-Very,VERY infrequently. JD made a lot of tv variety specials in the 70s,before the MTV era. They had skits or studio setups that would occassionally require him to mime(e.g google ‘Magic Moments’ where he sings in a wizard costume while rollerskating with Pan’s People) but this was very much the exception,not the rule. He never,ever lipsynched in concert.
