  1. We’re planning our first hike in Rocky Mountain National Park and every ride I’ve seen in this book details about distance, the height of destination, including good descriptions of the plants that you might encounter on the trail . There are even pictures of flowers and animals often spotted. I love Mallitz formula for degrees of difficulty. Now I can use this formula to other walks in other areas. I bought a book at the same time, Rocky Mountain National Park, The Complete Guide by Lisa Foster and did not find it useful, even if it contains a wealth of information. Rating: 5.5

  2. I had the previous (original?) Iteration of this book, and it was very helpful. It has more useful information including a level of difficulty of the system (although it was wrong). If you do, all plans of the tracks in and around RMNP, is the only one to get. Rating: 5.5

  3. Very inciteful —– Some of these increases have been mentioned in other sources —- try this summer. Rating: 5.5

  4. Brad Shannon says:

I have this book on walks, because it does not weigh much and it contains maps. Great info. Backpacking. Thanks Jerome! Rating: 5.5

  5. I bought this book and another (much thicker and heavier) at the end of July before the RMNP. I took it on the road with me b / c it was smaller and lighter, but equally gründlich.Es is divided into sections based on the park. In each section, are shown for each day hikes with color photos. The descriptions are precise and very useful. It seems that the author has traveled only they have the same path in front of me, I’ll go to the next time I take in RMNP. Rating: 5.5
