This mountain bike trail is one of our winter staples. It will usually get a little snow, but clears out quickly. The climb is all jeep road, and it is all singletrack on the way back down. You have to be very careful of a couple of turns, because if you miss them, you have no room for error. You will end up 600ft down in the canyon in a couple of seconds. So be CAREFUL your first time. This mountain bike trail is located just out of South Lake Tahoe, CA. near Meyers Ca. If you know the area, it is just east of Mr. Toads Wild ride. That video is later. Anyway, this trail is fast and relatively smooth. It is sooooo much fun. It is more of an intermediate ride. The climb is on a paved road, and the downhill twists and turns the whole way down. This has to be one of my favorite rides in the area. You can find the GPS map of the trail with turn by directions FREE at : www.greatbasinbicycles.com, as well as many other GPS trail maps in the area. Enjoy the ride.
